Digital transformation

The cluster explores the digital transformation in society, science, the working environment and everyday life. The focus is on the effects in these areas as well as on the potentials and challenges associated with digital transformation.

Learning in future

The “Digital Teaching and Learning Cultures” cluster is concerned with the development of skills for the digitalized living environment and application scenarios of digitally supported teaching and learning for the realization of new learning cultures.

User-centered research

The “UX Design” cluster examines different concepts of UX and usability design in order to discuss their applications and to identify and adapt suitable tools and aids.

Technologies for Health and Age(ing)

The cluster "Technology in Health and Age(ing)" conducts interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research into the question of what contribution digital technologies can make to a competent old age.

TOPICS OF THE RESEARCH CENTER

The aim of the cluster structure at the CODIP is to respond to current trends in digitalization both in everyday life and the scientific world, and to investigate these trends with the scientific expertise of our interdisciplinary team. Five clusters currently form the thematic framework of the central research facility: Digital Transformation, AI & DH, UX Design, Digital Teaching and Learning Cultures, Digital Learning and Gaming Cultures and Technologies for Health and Age(ing). The cluster structure provides a platform for an agile exchange of experience and knowledge that extends beyond projects. Through cooperative work, ideas can turn into scientific innovations in a dynamic process.
