GeNeMe 2026: Publication Call for Abstracts

The Call for Abstracts for submissions to the GeNeMe 2026 conference has been published.
The submission of abstracts takes place in a 2-stage procedure. The information on the track topics and submission formats are summarized on the call page. All information on the individual submission stages is listed on the respective abstract submission pages, and later on the paper submission page.

In 2026, GeNeMe is dedicated to the question of how digital participation can be shaped, researched and reflected upon. In this context, the rapid technological development raises fundamental questions: Which methodological approaches enable effective participation in research and design processes? What skills are required to ensure digital sovereignty? How are virtual communities, AI-supported systems and immersive technologies changing forms of collaboration and co-creation? And what opportunities and risks arise for democratic decision-making processes in a public sphere increasingly shaped by machines?
