The TUD Dresden University of Technology, represented by the Chair of Adult Education, is pleased to announce the official start of the Erasmus+ cooperation partnership "EUVET-P: Vocational Education and Training Policy in the European Union" on 01.09.2024. This project aims to strengthen the practical implementation of the European Union's VET policy. To this end, teaching-learning units on EU policy instruments and tools in the field of vocational education and training are being developed for teachers.
Under the leadership of the Chair of Adult Education, the project is being carried out in cooperation with renowned European partners. The partner institutions include AidLearn from Portugal, Kek Axia and Andras from Greece. Together, the project participants will develop practical e-learning units for VET teachers that promote the European dimension and values in VET, with a particular focus on cross-border cooperation and knowledge exchange.
Project objectives and priorities:
A) To investigate the implementation of EU VET policies in VET programs;
B) Identification of interests, challenges and best practices;
C) Development of teaching-learning units that support the European idea, illustrate the core content and benefits of EU VET policy and contribute to a better understanding;
D) Promoting exchanges to strengthen the EU VET policy.
Quote from the project coordinator Prof. Dr. Sandra Bohlinger:
"We are proud to contribute to the strengthening of European VET with the EUVET-P project. Our aim is to work closely with our European partners to develop innovative teaching materials that will help VET teachers in Europe to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the EU and thus act as multipliers."
The project will run for a period of 2 years and is funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. It makes a decisive contribution to the further development of vocational training policy in the EU and provides important impetus for the future design of educational programs.
