Services, expertise and research priorities of the participating scientific institutions complete the offer of the Technology Portal, which enables a quick and easy “find and be found” through its search function. Around 1,500 pieces of equipment and over 200 pieces of scientific equipment can be searched for at present.

In issue 3/2016 “Stepping Stone Communication Technology”, Enrico Kluge and Tobias Mahn provide information on the Technology Portal, which was developed by them, and additionally present ideas regarding a further development of the system.

For the past 25 years, the Dresden Transfer Letter has regularly reported on current transfer priorities of Dresden-based companies and scientific institutions. The editors’ aim is to make excellent research results accessible, i.e. in application, during the process to application or theoretically. By publishing innovative research and development results, editors of the Dresden Transfer Letter, TU Dresden, TechnologieZentrumDresden, GWT-TUD and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Dresden would like to contribute to a successful exploitation.
