Bioprocess engineers present the "Smart lab of the future"
The demand for modern solutions for automation of recurring lab-procedures has increased over the last years especially with small and mid-sized laboratories. The Dresden-based bioprocess engieneers around Dr.-Ing. Felix Lenk have recognised this and are searching for innovative solutions for the automation of repetitive lab-procedures. The compact bench-top lab automation platform PetriJet offers the possibility of handling the Petri dishes and the required processes automatically. The system can process more than 100 sealed and unsealed Petri dishes fully automatically. The configuration and operation of this compact device can be browser-based using a smartphone or tablet-PC. Furthermore, the development "NutriJet" for the automatic creation of buffer and nutrient media on nexygen® laboratory furniture by the company Köttermann GmbH & Co KG shall be presented.
Are you interested in finding our more details? At the joint stand " Research for the future" in hall A 3 (stand 434) and the nexygen® stand in hall B (stand 407) TU Dresden researchers will be happy to inform you about the most recent developments.
