FutureSAX 2019: Wandelbots wins Saxon Founder's Prize
On June 19, 2019, the most innovative founders and entrepreneurs as well as the best knowledge and technology transfer projects in Saxony were honored at the futureSAX Innovation Conference by Economics Minister Martin Dulig. More than 500 scientists, founders and entrepreneurs took part in yesterday's award ceremony. In the context of the Saxon founder price the TU start-up Wandelbots GmbH from Dresden could convince the competition jury with its concept. With the Saxon Founder Prize, the Free State of Saxony supports the development of good ideas into sustainable business concepts as well as particularly innovative and growth-oriented start-up projects. A total of 30,000 euros in prize money is awarded annually for the competition.

1st place: Wandelbots GmbH, Dresden - "Demonstration-based training of robots".
2nd place: Morpheus Space GmbH, Dresden - "Microdrives for nano-satellites for the sustainable use of space".
3rd place: Jymmin GmbH, Leipzig - "Stimulation of emotional-motor control through music feedback".
4th futureSAX Audience Award: Team SAM Assistance, Dresden - "Self-learning assistance system for machine operators".
Saxon transfer price 2019:
1st place: Prof. Dr. Dr. Karl Leo, Dresden University of Technology - "Miniaturizable Spectroscopy based on Organic Electronics".
2nd place: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens-Peter Majschak, Technical University of Dresden - "cera2heat - Revolution of industrial heating processes"
3rd place: Karl Lötsch, Chemnitz University of Technology - "Production of metallic PEM bipolar plates suitable for mass production".
4th Special Prize Technology Mediator: Maria Kryger, University of Leipzig, "Development of a more heart-healthy Rostbratwurst".

1st place: Innoperform GmbH, Malschwitz - "arimeo - the new generation of window rebate ventilators".
2nd place: Fabmatics GmbH, Dresden - "Flexible, self-navigating, autonomous robot with adaptive, modular handling systems".
3rd place: Zellkraftwerk GmbH, Leipzig - "Cell scanner and Cytobot".
4th Special Prize of the Saxon Chambers of Skilled Crafts: isotech Gebäudetechnik e.K. - "steam X: innovative steam technology".
