On 19 January 2017, TU Dresden staff members of the areas of Budget and Purchases, Technology Transfer and Law were given the opportunity to prepare themselves for tasks regarding R&D cooperation contracts and R&D orders in cooperation between science and the industry.

In many areas of process industry, gas, liquid and solid flows can be found. Examples are reactors and separating equipment in the chemical industry such as solar heat exchangers or plants for the extraction and processing of crude and natural gas.

Today, Heliatek, a 2006 TU Dresden spin-off, received the first grant in the framework of the new Saxon Key Enabling Technologies Pilot Lines Project from Martin Dulig, State Minister for Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport.
