Workplace glasses
In general, people who work on computers wear the same glasses they wear in everyday life (universal glasses) if correction of refractive errors (short-sightedness, presbyopia, etc.) is required. The occupational health screening will determine if your normal visual aid (universal glasses that you also wear in everyday life) is sufficient for your work at a computer screen or if special additional computer screen work glasses are required. Only this special additional visual aid is financially supported by the employer (glasses required in everyday life and pure blue light filter glasses are also not financially supported by the employer).
If necessary, customised computer workstation glasses can significantly relieve the strain on the eyes and help prevent incorrect posture.
