Inclusion, integration and accessibility
As an inclusive university, TU Dresden strives to ensure that everyone feels welcome and can flourish and thrive here. To this end, there are a number of programs and services for the fair, non-discriminatory and self-determined participation of people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Trans, intersex and non-binary university members should also feel they are an integral part of our community. As a cosmopolitan university, TU Dresden also offers numerous welcome services for international members and guests.
Family-friendly university
Balancing family, studies, and work is critical to the health, satisfaction, and performance of all TUD members. TU Dresden is therefore very keen to promote this area and provide a wide range of support services.
Equal opportunities
There are various measures and initiatives to promote equal opportunities and diversity. These include, for example, targeted programs promoting women in science, creating family-friendly working conditions and raising awareness of discrimination and prejudice. However, it is important to note that despite these efforts, challenges still remain and further progress needs to be made. TU Dresden is working continually to improve equality and create an inclusive environment for all members of the university.
