ZfI submits recommendations for action to the BAMF
A good year after the symposium Deutsch für Geflüchtete von Anfang an (see event archive), the dialogue is entering a new round. In the aftermath of the symposium, ten recommendations for action were elicited, sent out and the addressed stakeholders were asked to comment. Ann-Kathrin Kobelt from the Centre for Integration Studies at the TU Dresden (ZfI), together with Frauke Al Mohammad, a teacher in the field of German as a foreign and second language, and Marcus Oertel, one of the education coordinators for new immigrants (adult education) of the state capital Dresden, will start the dialogue between employees of the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF) in Nuremberg in September 2018.
This is the start of the dialogue on the Handlungsempfehlungen für Deutsch, (Aus)Bildung und Arbeit für Migrantinnen und Migranten in Dresden. We are looking forward to seeing what the discussion has in store in the context of language acquisition and mediation and will inform you about it in the ZfI Newsletter of the 4th quarter of 2018.
