Review and Outlook - New Year's Greetings from the ZfI
Dear friends of the Centre for Integration Studies,
The year 2018 is coming to an end and a new year is opening up for us.
Last year we were able to open many doors to new projects, cooperations, initiatives,... and break new ground. In view of the elections in various federal states next year, including Saxony, as well as the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, new formations of integration will become apparent: on the one hand, the relationship of people to each other in the German migration society, and on the other hand, in the context of the post-socialist transformation experience. We are very excited about 2019 and hope that there will be doors that open and lead unexpectedly to new paths, as well as paths that we already know.
On behalf of all the staff of the Centre for Integration Studies and the affiliated projects and initiatives
- In Dresden ankommen (IDA)
- Kunst und Kultur in der polarisierten Stadt (KupoS)
- Refugee Law Clinic (RLC)
- Schule inklusiv gestalten (SING)
- Qualifizierung von Bildungsfachkräften für ‚Inklusive Bildung‘
I wish you a peaceful festive season and a powerful start to the new year 2019.
We hope to continue discovering new doors in the coming year and to open them together with you.
