The members of the research group:
Bernadette Rohlf (M.A. Management Sozialen Wandels)
At the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde, I graduated in Corporate Management (B.A.) in 2016. Afterwards, I spezialized in humanities and social sciences in the subsequent Master's program. Studying for a Master of Arts in Management of Social Change at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz (graduation in 2020), I found my passion for scientific research and working on questions of social inequality. My focus lies in topics surrounding gender and equality. This field of interest correlated with the work of the junior research group and, in turn, allows me to further apply and professionalize my content-related interests and scientific skills in working here.
J. Charlotte Seidel (B.Sc. Psychologie)
I am currently completing my Master of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Leipzig. In particular, I have specialized in work and organizational psychology as well as health psychology. In addition to my studies, I have worked for several years as a research assistant at the Coordination Office for Equal Opportunities in Saxony, an institution that supports all actors at Saxon universities and universities of cooperative education who are committed to equality and inclusion. Furthermore, I work as a researcher for Total Equality Deutschland e.V., where I am involved in the evaluation of the diversity-friendliness of universities and advancing the development of survey instruments and quality standards. My research interests lie especially in the area of measurement instrument development and quantitative longitudinal data analysis. In the GAP research group, I have been employed at the Institute for Knowledge Transfer and Digital Transformation at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences since July 2022 and am involved in transferring research findings of the junior research group into practical recommendations for action.
Christina Madry (M.Sc. Industrial Management)
Until 2014, I studied at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences in the bachelor's degree program in Business Administration with the specialization modules Human Resource Management and Logistics. I was able to complete my master's degree in Industrial Management with the specialization module Special Communication, also at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences.
Since October 2020, I have been working as a research assistant in the NFG GAP, where I have mainly helped with the development of research questions and literature research. I am currently on parental leave.

I completed my first degree at the TU Chemnitz in the field of Education and Psychology (B. A.). Afterwards, I completed my master's degree in the international behavioral science program Management and Organization Studies (M. Sc.) at the TU Chemnitz (in the combination of Organizational Studies, Human Resource Management, Leadership Studies as well as Innovation and Technology Management). Already during my studies I was able to gain extensive experience in the application and combination of different research methods.

During my self-employment I was mainly active as a project manager in research projects and as a trainer for personnel development. Johanna Melia Beckmann (M.Sc. Psychology)
I completed my master's degree in Psychology at the University of Trier with a focus on Work and Organizational Psychology. I also earned a certificate from the Center for Postcolonial and Gender Studies, as I am particularly interested in examining the influences of gender and sociocultural embedding on our perceptions, evaluations, expectations of action, and scope for action. I feel that the identification of measures to promote equal opportunities is an important goal.
Within the project, my focus is on the organizational analysis of ESF projects at Saxon universities under the aspect of gender equality (investigation of gender-specific effects of structures and processes) and on qualitative research on specific gender equality issues.
Jonathan Biehl (M.Sc. Media and Instructional Psychology)
I first worked in real estate management alongside and after my studies in Psychology and then moved to a company in the field of media analysis after completing my master's degree in Media and Instructional Psychology. Since 2018, I have been working at the Chair of International Management and Corporate Strategy in Freiberg, and since 2020, I have also been working on the GAP project.
At GAP, I am primarily responsible for quantitative data collection and analysis. My research interests lie primarily in the field of attractiveness of job postings and the non-intended consequences of diversity measures.
Meike Scholz (M.Sc. Value Chain Management)
After obtaining my first university degree as a Bachelor of Science in Economics, I went on to pursue a Master's degree, which I completed in Value Chain Management as a Master of Science in April 2021. I completed both study programs at the Chemnitz University of Technology. As a research assistant at the Technical Universities of Chemnitz and Freiberg, I was able to gain experience in inclusion as well as research and project work before I became a research assistant in the GAP project in May 2021. Here I am now involved in qualitative and quantitative research, especially in the context of an organizational analysis.
Stephanie Burger (M.Sc. Psychology)
In addition to my studies in psychology and teaching ( with focus on mathematics, German and philosophy), I expanded my competences with practical knowledge in communication trainings such as neuro-linguistic programming and non-violent communication. Due to my interest in research and statistics as well as gender equality, I found my place in this project. In addition to quantitative research methods and statistical data analyses, my areas of responsibility are content-related focal points in Saxon higher education structures as well as student success.
