Teacher Training - Vocational Schools
The Chair of Vocational Education is responsible for approx. 50% of the coursework and examinations in the state examination course for Teacher Training - Vocational Schools. With the exception of the elective courses in the supplementary area (EGS), the coursework and examinations are compulsory for all vocational education students, regardless of the vocational Department.
We also support the educational science component of the "Option Studium des technischen Lehramtes"(OptLA) project, which is offered jointly with the three Saxon universities in Zwickau, Mittweida and Zittau/Görlitz.
