Research partner Center for Open Digital Innovation and Participation (CODIP)
The Chair of Educational Technology maintains an intensive research and development cooperation with the Center for Open Digital Innovation and Participation (CODIP) (formerly Media Center) at TU Dresden:
The Center for Open Digital Innovation and Participation (CODIP) is a Central Academic Unit at TU Dresden and sees itself as a research center and service provider in the fields of e-learning, knowledge organization, multimedia applications and e-science. In close cooperation with the Chair of Educational Technology and supported by the personal union of Directorate and Chair, a number of R&D projects are jointly implemented. The CODIP supports the development and introduction of multimedia teaching and learning opportunities for training and further education at TU Dresden in cooperation with all faculties and institutions as well as the integration of these technologies through suitable strategies for personnel and organizational development. The Multimedia Advisory Board of TU Dresden supports the CODIP, advises the Director of the CODIP in the fulfillment of its tasks and comments on the accountability report. The CODIP coordinates the eLearning working group as the only working group of the Saxony Rectors' Conference and provides scientific support for the development of TU Dresden's strategy on issues relating to the use of media in teaching, research and marketing.
