ISEBS
The project
is aimed at pupils from vocational schools (technical college, vocational school, vocational grammar school, technical secondary school, etc.).
In addition to attending a type of vocational school, students can enrol at the TUD Dresden University of Technology as part of an "early study program" and (usually) attend a course at the TU Dresden.
The aim of ISEBS
is to develop and test the dovetailing of industrial-technical, vocational training with study elements at the TUD Dresden University of Technology. The aim is for students to
- gain experience in the areas of theory and practice
- be able to test their interests and abilities
- decide which further educational path is right for them
- take initial study modules and possibly shorten their subsequent studies.
The project is managed (in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Martin Hartmann) by Prof. Dr. Rolf Koerber. The project team member responsible is Ms. Nadine Matthes. It runs from August 2017 to January 2020 and is funded by the Bertelsmann Foundation.
