Duration: 01.01.2017 until 31.12.2020

Research focus:
The project aims to design and introduce a Master's degree program in Vocational and Business Education and Management Training (Master en Techniques et Formations Professionnelles; MTFP) at the University of Koudougou (UK) in Burkina Faso from the winter semester 2017/18, taking into account international standards, pedagogical and didactic research as well as intercultural and societal know-how.
To date, teacher training has been completed at Bachelor's level. Teachers are currently guaranteed employment by the state at the beginning of their training. However, they have no further career opportunities apart from specialist advice and cannot do a doctorate. One of the aims of introducing the degree program is to create the opportunity to train their own staff for teacher training at an academic level.
Intended results:
Introduction of a Master's degree course in Vocational and Business Education and Management Training (Master en Techniques et Formations Professionnelles; MTFP) at the University of Koudougou (UK) in Burkina Faso from the winter semester 2017/18.
