Block Internship B for mathematics and elementary school didactics
Block Internship B lasts for 4 weeks and is completed during the lecture-free period. During this time, you will be required to shadow teaching staff and teach for a total of 18 academic hours.
The graded academic work is a graded portfolio, comprising a detailed lesson plan as well as a focal area of research of your choosing.
Students with mathematics as their major will primarily hold mathematics lessons in Block Internship B.
The block internship in elementary school didactics then focuses on other elementary school subjects.
As far as the university is concerned, the introductory and plenary sessions are mandatory and take place in the following periods:
- Block internship in the winter semester (February / March)
- Introductory session between December and February
- Plenary session in April / May
- Block internship in the summer semester (August / September)
- Introductory session end of June / July
- Plenary session in October
