Regulations on the Determination of Suitability for the Master’s Degree Program in Social Education
Based on the current regulations of the Act on the Autonomy of Institutions of Higher Education in the Free State of Saxony, you must submit further documents to determine your suitability for a place on the Master’s degree program Social Education, in addition to the general application documents.
Within the framework of this aptitude assessment, it is examined whether you have the corresponding subject-specific knowledge for the Master’s degree program Social Education through the completion of your Bachelor’s degree program. The application to determine your suitability is an obligatory part of the application documentation and will be examined by an admission committee at the Faculty of Education.

After examination, an aptitude certificate will be issued by August 15 of the respective year at the very latest. This is a prerequisite for enrollment in the Master’s degree program Social Education and must be presented to the Admissions Office or the International Office.
