Jörg Sonntag admitted to the Benedictine Academy Salzburg

On November 9, 2024, PD Dr. Jörg Sonntag, former Professor of Medieval History and still Privatdozent (PD) at the Institute of History at TU Dresden, was admitted to the honorable circle of the Benedictine Academy Salzburg for his internationally networked research on medieval monastic culture. The medal and certificate were presented at a ceremony in the Romanesque Hall of the Salzburg Archabbey of St. Peter. We warmly congratulate him on this honor.
