"Organization of work, humanity, women's rights. Louise Otto in the revolution of 1848/49"
Prof. Dr. Susanne Schötz will give a lecture on 7 March 2024 (at 7 pm) in Trier entitled "Organization of work, humanity, women's rights. Louise Otto in the revolution of 1848/49".
She will talk about Louise Otto's democratic-feminist commitment, through which she expanded the socio-political discourse of the revolutionary period and shifted the boundaries of gender discourse. The focus will be on the self-positioning of the socio-political pioneer as a politically active person, guided by expectations, convictions and a sense of purpose.
