Profile
The research projects at the Chair focus on the one hand on the development and optimisation of data collection and analysis methods. On the other hand, they address sociological or social science issues with the methods of empirical social research. Current research projects at the Chair investigate the quality of measurements and the comparability (measurement equivalence) of data in different languages and cultures using the example of the cultures of refugees (ENSURE), the design of support and information services for senior citizens, the development of standards for interviews that are as informative as possible, and the measurement of professional interests.
