Pool of materials

The Research Center for Didactics of Democracy aims to develop its own materials as well as formats. JoDDiD follows a very broad concept of materials that goes beyond traditional materials such as information brochures or handouts. For example, we can also think of educational materials as spatial objects, playful exhibits or repurposed everyday objects. Many of our materials are available for you to borrow, order or use directly. Take a look at our shop.

In the innovation lab area, we develop materials ourselves or together with stakeholders, produce them and make them available to third parties.

Some examples of such materials are our large mask-shaped thinking hats, our carpets for positioning methods or our voting tubes. You can borrow these materials from us free of charge and use them in your educational program. In return, we would be delighted if you could rgive us feedback about the use of these materials. Such an evaluation discussion helps us to further develop the JoDDiD materials and to add new ones. You can find much more in the shop.

HOW DOES THE LENDING SERVICE WORK?

Are you involved in extracurricular civic education in Saxony and would like to use JoDDiD materials in your educational program? Then choose the right one in the store and contact us at shop@tu-dresden.de. Depending on the material, you can then collect it from JoDDiD for a fixed loan period or we can send it to you by post. Some of the materials are even available to download directly. After you have used the free material, we would be happy to have a short evaluation discussion on the phone about how you used the material and how you liked it. After all, your feedback is essential for the further development of our services.
