"Performing Transformation" - Review
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the conference "Performing Transformation: Shifting Landscapes in Art, Science, and Technology" at TU Dresden! Together, we experienced two intensive days days filled with artistic, scientific, and interdisciplinary contributions – accompanied by inspiring conversations, lively discussions, and new perspectives on the themes of transformation and collaborative research.
It became clear that transformation is not a finished state, but an ongoing process of unlearning, relearning, and co-creating. It requires resources, resilient infrastructures, and strong communities to remain effective in the long term.
We hope that this conference has sparked lasting impulses, new connections, and collaborations that will continue to grow – across disciplines and institutions.
Our sincere thanks go to the entire organizing team:
SchauflerLab@TU Dresden, TUDiSC, the Interactive Science Lab, the EmergingField of Societal Change and the Artist in Residence program S+T+ARTS Ec(h)o based at the Office for Academic Heritage, Scientific and Art Collections, as well as the Walter De Gruyter Stiftung for their financial support.
