RPTE–Survey
(2 SWS)
The course RPTE-Survey provides an insight into the variable factors and processes involved in learning/teaching English as a foreign language (EFL). Participants are encouraged to reflect on how these can be considered/ controlled in EFL classes in order to facilitate the development of intercultural communicative competence. Task-based assignments such as the analysis and the planning of teaching units on the basis of current textbooks will support the integration of theoretical with practical perspectives.
EXAMS
Studienordnung Lehramt:
This course (RPTE-Survey) represents one of the two courses offered in the module RPTE (Reflected Practice of Teaching English). In combination with the course RPTE-Lessons it develops the competences required for the subsequent module RPTE-SPÜ. The exam RPTE-Portfolio requires the previous completion of RPTE-Survey and RPTE-Lessons as it integrates tasks related to both RPTE courses.
Studienordnung B.A.WiPäd:
This course (RPTE-Survey) represents one of the three courses offered in the module RPTE (Reflected Practice of Teaching English). It is complemented by the courses RPTE-Lessons and RPTE-Individualized Teaching.
The exam RPTE-Klausur can be completed in the context of this course (RPTE-Survey).
The exam RPTE-Referat can be completed in the context of the course RPTE-Lessons.
