Das Jahrhundert des Populismus. Geschichte, Theorie, Kritik.
Der Historiker Pierre Rosanvallon ist Professor für neuere und neueste Geschichte am Collège de France und Directeur d’Études an der EHESS.
Viele seiner Arbeiten haben sich mit der Geschichte der Demokratie beschäftigt. In
seinem jüngsten Werk entwickelt er eine Theorie des Populismus, erläutert dessen
Geschichte und Erscheinungsformen und formuliert auf dieser Grundlage eine fundierte
Kritik, auch im Hinblick auf die aktuell weltweit zu beobachtenden Ausprägungen von
„Populismen“.

- Alexandre Dézé lehrt als Maître de conférences Politikwissenschaft an der Universität Montpellier und ist Forscher am Centre d'études politiques de l'Europe latine (CEPEL).
- Paula Diehl ist Professorin für Politische Theorie und Ideengeschichte an der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel).
- Wolfgang Knöbl ist Direktor des Hamburger Instituts für Sozialforschung und Professor für Politische Soziologie und Gewaltforschung an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg.
