Photo exhibition "Standing for freedom / Poser pour la liberté"
The exhibition Poser pour la Liberté / Standing for Freedom presents singular works of art of the photographic project RESTRICA (Focus on scholars forced into exile yesterday and today). It was initiated in 2018 by the researcher Pascale Laborier and Pierre-Jérôme Adjedj, a Berlin-based French photographer. In three years, 51 portraits of scholars and scientists in exile, but also of hosts, were taken. 15 of them are part of the exhibition, which negotiates the subject of “exile” on four thematic axes. Please find more information about the exhibition and its accompanying events on: Standing for freedom / Poser pour la liberté — Institute of Romance Studies — TU Dresden (tu-dresden.de).
