Prof. Martin Wolter is the new holder of the Chair of Networked Energy Systems

Prof. Martin Wolter has held the Chair of Networked Energy Systems at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering since September 1. After completing his doctorate and habilitation at Leibniz Universität Hannover, he headed the Operational Principles and Concept Development department at 50Hertz Transmission in Berlin before taking up the Chair of Electrical Grids and Renewable Energy at the University of Magdeburg in 2015. His key research topics include the modeling of the electrical energy supply system, the development of grid planning and grid management concepts, grid status identification and transmission technology. |
