We are constantly looking for new Research Associates with above-average expertise in the fields of wave optics, measurement technology, control engineering, fluid mechanics, signal processing, acoustics, laser technology, or biomedical engineering. We value the ability to work independently and in a goal-oriented manner within an interdisciplinary team, a high level of commitment, and a strong command of the English language. A requirement is an outstanding academic degree program in electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, mechanical engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or related degree programs. Possible research areas include:
- Adaptive localization microscopy/microfluidics
- Laser-optical methods for measuring complex flows
- Laser-optical methods for the analysis of materials and the monitoring of production processes (Industry 4.0)
- Adaptive laser systems for biomedicine
- AI-based microscopy for the analysis of tissues and cells
- Diffractive neural networks for multimode optical fibers
- Wavefront shaping and neural networks for lensless endomicroscopy using multicore fibers
- Information transmission through scattering media using physics-informed deep learning
