Research topics

Our goal is to gain fundamental insights and to apply engineering innovations through the use of novel measurement systems. Thus, we want to enhance the quality of life and create or secure jobs. For these means, we do nationally and intenationally recognized research on non-contact measurement and sensor systems.

We are always looking for potential doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers with outstanding expertise in the fields of optics, measurement and control engineering, signal and image processing, laser technology, or biomedicine. Requirements include the ability to work independently and in a goal-oriented manner within an interdisciplinary team, a high level of commitment, and an outstanding university degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field.
