The programmes are integrated five-year (single-tier) programmes leading to a Diplom degree. Thus they include Bachelor's as well as Master‘s level. The academic level of the Diplom degree is equivalent to a Master’s degree.
Regardless of study level, exchange students can choose both Bachelor and Master level courses, provided that the prerequisites are met.
In general, you must visit all parts/courses of one module!
Modules that contain German and English taught courses are exempt - this means that if you do not have any knowledge of German, you may only attend the English language part of a module.
Also, you have to choose minimum 70% of the modules offered by the Faculty of
Electrical and Computer Engineering!
Please make sure that the module you have chosen is offered in the semester you want to stay at the TU Dresden (winter semester, summer semester), see module handbooks.
The language of instruction of the Diplom degree programmes is mainly German.
