The P2O-Lab is an approx. 110 m² learning factory on the premises of the Technical University of Dresden. Based on solution approaches from the fields of modularization, digitalization and artificial intelligence, the P2O-Lab investigates the next steps to serve highly variable markets with almost binary product life cycles. The P2O-Lab asks itself which requirements, models, methods and tools need to be fulfilled for this. The findings from the current research are then incorporated into teaching at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at TU Dresden. In addition, students and external persons have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the P2O-Lab as part of workshops and internships.
