Guest Scientist
Eleonore Trefftz Program
The Eleonore Trefftz Program enables alternating guest stays of female scientists at the TU Dresden, who independently represent their subject in teaching and research at the respective faculty. Female guest professors can do research and teach at the TU Dresden for three to 12 months. Female scientists who hold a professorship as well as junior professors and scientists who are at least in an advanced stage of the postdoc phase can fill a visiting professorship. The program serves to promote female careers on the path to professorship. Female visiting professors are also role models for an academic career for female students and scientists in the qualification phase from those subjects in which there have been few or no female professors to date.
Fellowship Program
The Dresden Fellowship Program focuses on inviting international scientists to conduct joint research and teaching at the TU Dresden. For up to six months, young researchers can be supported as Dresden Junior Fellows and established researchers as Dresden Senior Fellows at the TU Dresden. With both program lines, TU Dresden aims to attract scientific talent at senior and early-career level. The program aims to intensify collaborations and to initiate long-term, strategic projects with TU Dresden institutions and research groups as well as their DRESDEN-concept partners.
Humboldt Research Fellowship
The Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers is one of the most prestigious fellowships for researchers of all nations and disciplines. It sponsors outstanding international scientists to conduct research in Germany. In addition to the fellowship, the scientists:in particular benefit from networking with the worldwide network of Humboldt fellows.
