Studying at the Chair for Human-Computer Interaction
Below you find more information on the courses available from our Chair. Courses take place annually, either in winter or in summer term. Labs, however, can be started almost at any time.
What is covered by HCI courses?
The Chair of HCI offers classic style lectures, labs covering practical tasks as well as individual student projects (seminar reports, thesis).
Except for the lecture "Introduction to Media Informatics" aiming primarily at first year students of Bachelor degree programs, most lectures aim at advanced students. Thereby you can master a broad range of knowledge in the discipline of Human-Computer Interaction within elective modules of your bachelor or master degree program. For example, do you know about the requirements of an accessible document or how a computer determines gestures when you touch a screen with all your fingers?
