Workshop offers
With the aim of getting children and young people interested in computer science, we offer (usually) one-day workshops.
Table of contents
From elementary school
Calliope Mini
As our first workshop, we have added "Calliope mini" for grades 3 to 7.
See Workshop - Calliope mini for more information about the workshop.
The materials can also be used in school lessons and are therefore freely available for download on the Teaching-Learning Materials - Calliope mini page.
From secondary school I
Scratch
Decide for yourself how a story ends or see what's behind game apps on your smartphone? In our workshop for grades 6 to 8, we show how this is possible with the Scratch website.
See Workshop - Scratch you will find more information about the workshop.
The materials are freely available for download on the Teaching-Learning Materials - Scratchpage.
3D - Printing
This workshop provides an algorithmic introduction to 3D modeling using the OpenSCAD tool. The entire process from the idea to the printed object is run through together.
Under Workshop - 3D Printing you will find more information about the workshop.
The materials are free to download from the Teaching-Learning Materials - 3D Printing page.
App programming
This workshop is about developing apps for mobile devices such as the tablet or smartphone using a block-based programming language. In the process, an app for drawing on the mobile device and the first games will be created.
Under Workshop - App Programming you can find more information about the workshop.
The materials are free to download from the Teaching-Learning Materials - AppInventor page.
Artificial intelligence
Everything revolves around the topic of AI in our workshop on artificial intelligence. The workshop is aimed at students in grades 10 to 12.
See Workshop - AI for a more detailed description of how the workshop is structured.
The materials of the stations of the workshop can also be downloaded at Teaching-Learning-CMaterial - Artificial Intelligence.
From secondary school level II
Python Interactiv
This workshop teaches the basics of procedural programming using the Python programming language. For this we use the online platform CS Academy of Carnegy Mellon University.
See Workshop - CMU for a more detailed description of the workshop.
