Alongside the didactics modules, the Chair of Didactics of Computer Science offers a range of other courses for teacher training students. These courses explore didactic aspects in combination with fundamental subject theory. The Chair also oversees practicals in schools and block internship B for Computer Science.

We also offer programs for graduates interested in teaching computer science alongside our undergraduate teacher training programs. This program is also ideal for teachers who would like to teach computer science in addition to their other subjects. This course is offered on a part-time basis.

Our chair offers two modules for Media Computer Science students. One of these is the compulsory module “Media Psychology and Didactics” lasting one semester for Bachelor’s degree programs. The other is the elective compulsory module “E-Learning” for the Master’s degree program. The latter always begins in the summer semester with the “Virtual Learning Environments” course and continues in the winter semester with the “E-Learning” seminar.
