Learning Agreement
Planning of the studies -- Learning Agreement
- Learning agreements have to be concluded on the basis of modules.
In the German module descriptions credit points are named "Leistungspunkte" (LP).
Look at these module descriptions also for content as well as duration, exams, expenditure of work, etc. Choose the number of ECTS credits per semester determined by your home institution. If you are in doubt choose 25-30 ECTS credits. - The selected modules have to be filled in the "Learning agreement" table A and have to be signed by the student and both universities. Our Erasmus coordinator will sign your learning agreement digitally if you send it as pdf via email.
- Please check if the selected module can be completed within your period of study (see: "duration of module")
- The assignment of courses to the respective modules is provided here. Please consider: The current courses ("Lehrangebot") are available some weeks before the semester starts, only. Anyway, there are usually only slight changes compared to the previous year.
- ECTS-credits are only awarded for successfully completed modules or - in some cases - individual courses.
It is the student's responsibility to contact each responsible professor if ECTS-credits can be acquired for individual courses (see: Exam related Notes, section 2).
Exam related Notes
- Module exams
- Exams of single courses
- If the course cannot be assigned to any module for whatever reason the student must apply for a special course exam to the teacher in charge on time. The exam certificate must be forwarded to the SCIS.
- Issuance of Transcript of Records
- The SCIS will issue a Transcript of Records which contains the successfully completed modules (and eventually courses) on request
- The student must apply for the issuance of transcript of Records to the SCIS on time.
- The student must inform on all passed exams and hand over the course exam related certificates to the SCIS.
