Baking rolls while in college? 🍞 A quick look at food technology 📹
How are foods developed, produced, and quality-assured? What processes and technologies underlie the products we consume every day?
The Food Engineering program combines the fundamentals of the natural sciences with engineering expertise. Students learn to understand, further develop, and technically implement modern methods for the production, processing, and quality assurance of food.
This video provides insights into the program’s practical focus: In internships and lab exercises, students apply their knowledge and explore various food technology processes—from production to the analysis and evaluation of product properties. Prof. Anja Wagemans explains why food engineering is indispensable and what diverse knowledge and skills students acquire for the development and implementation of modern food processes.
