Activities
InnoLAB focuses on the development of innovative teaching materials for chemical process engineering - practical, up-to-date and skills-oriented. To achieve this goal, the project relies on a structured process based on international cooperation and interdisciplinary exchange.
InnoLAB's activities are divided into three central areas:
-
Case study development: together with industry and research partners, realistic case studies on current challenges in chemical process engineering are developed, including digital, interactive process models.
-
Training program for teachers: In an international training format, university lecturers from different departments work together on a didactic framework that promotes creativity, collaboration and modern learning methods.
-
Testing the materials with students: The materials developed are tested and further developed with students as part of international formats - such as a summer school and a digital hackathon - and prepared for widespread use.
-
Public relations: The project's reach will be increased through a targeted communication strategy - including a website, social media, book publication, scientific publications and events. The aim is to enable the transfer of the developed content beyond the project partners and to positively shape the public image of chemical process engineering.
