FGr AuW, HTT und ROH
Dear friends and interested parties of the DECHEMA Divisions
Waste Treatment and Resource Recovery (AuW),
High Temperature Technology (HTT) and Raw Materials (ROH),
the joint annual meeting will take place on March 17 and 18, 2025 at the Dorint Hotel Dresden. We invite you to submit proposals for presentations or posters by January 10, 2025 (German or English) by January 10, 2025.

For the joint plenary lectures, presentations that combine high-temperature technology processes with waste treatment and the extraction of primary and secondary raw materials are particularly welcome. The overarching theme is the circular economy. Nevertheless, contributions on all classic topics of each of the participating specialist groups are also welcome.
These include
Waste treatment and resource recovery specialist group:
- Biowaste and sewage sludge
- Residual waste, hazardous waste and ash
- PET and other plastics
- Electronic waste and battery recycling (e.g. Li-ion batteries)
- Ferrous scrap, non-ferrous metals
- Thermal disposal, including the co-incineration of substitute fuels and the environmental impact
- CCS/CCU
- Per- and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFAS)
High-temperature technology specialist group
Processes from all industries:
- Iron and steel industry
- Non-ferrous metals industry
- Chemical industry
- Lime and cement industry
- Glass industry
- Ceramics/refractory industry
Raw Materials Division:
- Electronic metals (indium, germanium, antimony)
- Critical elements - fluorspar/fluoride
- Mineral raw materials/raw materials in the construction sector
- (Substitute) raw materials for the (green) hydrogen economy
- Unconventional raw material sources/raw materials 4.0
From experimental results, theoretical approaches and numerical methods through to the development of new processes and equipment implementations, we want to discuss everything that is of interest to our specialist areas.
New work that has not yet been completed, has recently been started or is in the planning stage can also be presented. We particularly want to encourage doctoral students to present their work here and to take the opportunity to get suggestions and feedback from the discussion with experts.
In addition to the lecture program, which includes joint plenary lectures and separate lectures by the specialist groups, we also offer a poster session with short introductory lectures.
