Brief description
The overall goal of the enterprise is the development of a
facility for the production of a high-value fuel gas out of
biomass, which consists of an optimized two-stage gasifier and
a fuel gas detarring device that works with non-catalytic
partial oxidation for regenerative heat utilization.
The Dresden University of Technology undertakes here scientific
and energy-technological examinations of different operating
regimes and fuels for the gasifier, facility optimization of
the gasifier and the guidance of the tests and of the pilot
operation. In order to make the gas cleaning by partial
oxidation with energy recovery possible, the test rig has to be
engineered, the production plants have to be designed,
questions of energetic optimization, chemical reactions and
process engineering under cyclically changing circumstances
have to be scientifically guided, detarring has to be tested
and optimized, theory and test results have to be evaluated and
the principle has to be assessed by the Dresden University of
Technology.
