ProKI-Dresden
Demonstration and transfer network AI in production
ProKI-Dresden is a center within the framework of the demonstration and transfer network "AI in Production" (ProKI network), with a technological focus on forming technology. Its goal is to raise awareness among company personnel from various sectors about the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and to empower them to independently implement AI applications within their organizations.
As part of the project, the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at the TU Dresden primarily focused on the application of AI in polymer manufacturing technologies.
Based on research and development results as well as practice-oriented application examples, ProKI-Dresden develops target-group-specific transfer formats. These are designed to support especially companies in forming technology and their service providers in the introduction of AI technologies, thereby accelerating the transfer of AI know-how from academia to industrial practice.
In close collaboration with company representatives, ProKI-Dresden implemented qualification programs and provided individual consulting services. Furthermore, practical materials such as guidelines, checklists, and case studies for the introduction and use of AI were made available. In addition, a monthly ProKI Infopoint was held, offering companies up-to-date information on developments, application scenarios, and available support services related to AI.
