Dr. Robert Kupfer, Head of the Neutral Lightweight Engineering Expert Group at the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at TU Dresden, has successfully completed his habilitation in the field of lightweight engineering. His research on joints in thermoplastic-based hybrid and multi-material structures contributes to the development of sustainable lightweight design systems.
