On October 6th, Alexander Lenske presented his dissertation to the Doctoral committee, colleagues, friends and family. The supervisors Prof. Jens-Peter Majschak and Prof. Frank Miletzky, the Chairman Prof. André Wagenführ and Prof. Alexander Brosius were committee members.
The thesis about Charakterisierung der Prozesskraftkomponenten beim mehrdimensionalen Umformen von Karton durch Ziehen (Charakterisation of force components in multidimensional forming of paperboard by drawing) revealed that friction between paperboard and drawing tools create an essential part of the forming forces.
