To tackle current problems facing society as a whole, such as climate change, well-trained engineers are needed to help design the necessary processing methods in a way that conserves resources as much as possible. But how can we pack sensitive foods in a way that conserves resources and is safe at the same time? How can new types of packaging materials be processed in line with quality standards?

Our students and researchers at the Chair of Processing Machinery/Processing Technology at TUD Dresden University of Technology are addressing these and other questions.

After a presentation on possible solutions and corresponding job profiles, there will be a tour of the technical center. The event is suitable for students from the 9th grade onwards and the presetations are in German.
