Collection of Forest Measuring Tools
Caliper to determine the thickness of trees
The collection presumably dates back to Max Kunze and includes instruments for the measurement of the diameter and height of trees, log measuring and the volume and weight determination of wood. The oldest of the 153 exhibits on the height and thickness measurement of trees dates back to 1850.
