Process technologies and device integration of nanostructured carbon electrodes for energy management (enertrode) within the ECEMP
Duration: March 2012 - March 2014
Development of porous carbon materials for energy storage and conversion. Material properties, such as specific surface area, functionality and pore structure as well as the applied process for large area coatings are essential for the application.
Objectives:
- Development of nanostructured carbons and synthesis scale-up
- Development of processes for large area electrode processes
- Construction and evaluation of prototype cells: a) supercapacitor, b) fuel cell
