Nano structured electrode surfaces for energy technique (EnerCoat)
Duration: April 2009 - March 2012
Carbon based electrodes are a key component in supercapacitors and fuel cells. Through development of nanostructured carbons and their specific adaption in terms of porosity and functionalization, significant enhanced performance for the application in energy storage and conversion are targeted in this project. In addition to the material development, electrode fabrication techniques and their integration into devices are the main objectives.
