Development and functionality demonstration of a mobile adsorption storage tank based on nanoporous materials with high storage density for gaseous fuels
Duration: January 2006 - December 2008
Aim of this project is the development and functionality demonstration of a mobile adsorption storage tank based on nanoporous materials with high storage density for gaseous fuels, such as natural gas/methane and hydrogen. These nanoporous materials envisioned are metal-organic networks, porous nitrides and organic modified silicates. In addition the project work includes the development of concepts for controlled tank loading and release.
