Lithium Recovery

In this project, novel process for the recycling of lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4, or LFP) electrode materials from spent power battery is targeted. Based on the accumulation of scientific research achieved, this Sino-German project will combine the advantage of extraction techniques, advanced molecular and synthetic chemistry from the German side and the expertise of hydrometallurgy from the Chinese side.

SynPhos

Highly-Reactive (Regenerative) Phosphorus Building Blocks - New Concepts in Synthesis

New methods for a specific and selective buildup of poly- phosphorus compounds

This project combines the expertise of the groups around Prof. Robert Wolf and Prof. Jan J. Weigand to develop new and selective routes for the buildup of polyphosphorus compounds.
