Project B11
Exciton Transport in Synthetic 2D Materials
The project aims to explore, understand, and control energy transport in synthetic 2DMs. The PI will focus on the observation of the optically-detected propagation of excitonic energy carriers in a variety of synthetic 2D platforms, the identification of the main transport mechanisms based on the material structure, chemical composition, and spatial alignment, and the demonstration of time-resolved exciton currents in strain-engineered potential landscapes in 2DMs.
